How long can you stay underwater with a snorkel in deep water like an ocean ?
I've heard people say you can't stay underwater very long with a snorkel, especially if it's deep water like in an ocean or a 10 feet lake. my old friend from high school once told me that woman can stay underwater longer than men with a snorkel, she told me that last year.
Dip your head in a sink full of water and time how long you can hold your breath, since the deepness id only 10 feet that the atmospheric rules do not apply to your lungs, so basically its how long you can hold your breath for =)
A few inches under water – indefinitely.
A few feet under water – as long as you can without a snorkel.
