Windows 8: Bad Move?Windows Xp Security 2012

When we look back into the history of Microsoft, you would notice that it has come a long way from Windows 3.1 to the current windows 7. However, Windows 8 coming out now, could possibly be a bad move.

When windows XP came out, it started off buggy and people had a lot of complaints about it and some decided to stick to Windows 2000 or 98. Microsoft then released a service pack that resolved a lot of stability issues, but more petty problems arose, and two more service packs came out. Microsoft Windows XP was then acclaimed the best Operating System of all time.

People were content with XP and things were looking up!

Windows Vista had a lot of hype about it, and everyone had high hopes and thought this was it. However, it became apparent it was useless to say the least. Random crashes, slow file transfers, and over all slow system responses, were just the beginning of the problems. Oh and let’s not forget the security feature that thought we were too incompetent to make a right move and constantly ask us…”Are you sure?” “Really?” “Really Really sure?” You get the point.

Needless to say, a lot of us were fed up with the “upgrade” to Vista and stuck to XP. There were some that said that Vista was released pre-maturely and to that the service packs would help. But sadly, unlike windows XP, Vista didn’t really improve as much with the service packs, especially in comparison to XP and 7.
